Squale watch accuracy

Recently purchased the new Squale 1545. Love almost everything about it. 40mm, 20mm lug width, less than 48mm lug to lug, ceramic bezel, 300 meters of WR and a great dial. The only drawback is the movement accuracy. I am not expecting COSC here but it’s running +25 seconds a day. Not sure what sellita grade squale uses in these watches but it seems to be running a bit too fast. Even if this is a standard grade selitta SW-200 right ?

With a SW-200 any watch repair shop that works on mechanical could regulate for a minimal fee. It should come to you with better tolerance than that, but we are dealing with a smaller brand and/or who knows what bumps it's box took from manufacturer, to seller, to you.

Contact Squale and tell them the problem and they will give you information about where to send it for adjustment. I did and the problem was addressed

and resolved satisfactorily

If you have a demagnetizer I'd try demagnetizing before sending it in

I 2nd relyt29 advise. My Alpinist 6R35 movement was 60 seconds fast. I demagnetized it and now it’s +10 seconds.

Update: I opened up the case back and I adjusted the regulator with a 1mm screw driver. I’m definitely a novice at tinkering with the inner workers of a mechanical watch but I was able to get the speed down to +4 seconds a day. I prefer not to open up a watch with 300 meters of water resistance and possibly messing with the integrity of the water resistant rating but I’m happy with the results.
