My 5 year old just got his first watch a couple of weeks ago. He was really keen to start with and now doesn’t wear it 🤷‍♂️

My 13 year old still has zero interest in watches. My 10 year only recently decided he wanted one and now has a old cheap G-Shock which is never off his wrist.

If your 2 year old is interested then you could pick up some old ones off eBay for him to mess about with until he wants one to start learning the time with. 👍

My daughter was the same at that age. I got her a pink Casio baby g. I figure she can put it through any punishment she wants and it’s her favourite colour. Still wears it at almost 4yo but doesn’t have much of a concept about time besides meals and bedtime.

I bought a lrw200 for my son since he likes my dive watches since the bezel spins.  I traded the stock bans out for a 14mm velcro but just got and adapters and I'm going to do an elastic band so it's easier for him (just turned 3)

We just got our 7 year old a CasiOak, his choice while we my wife and I were looking around the shop. I caught him on YouTube watching a video about it on Hodinkee later that day, proudest father moment so far

I get Timex and Casio for my daughters. The key thing was that they didn't want "kids" watches with cartoon characters or animals or whatever on them, they wanted watches that looked like "real" watches (like Dad wears).
