Fat Crunching

Apple Watch today to help in my efforts to be less fat and more fit. I am exhausted. 12kg down, 15 to go until I’m officially not overweight. Smart watches still have their place on my wrist!

You are the second Cruncher in as many days that I've seen with the Apple Watch crown on the left. I wear mine on the right.

When I mainly just wore the Apple Watch, I wore it on my left with the crown on the right. I’ve been double wristing lately, wearing my normal watches on my left hand so I’ve rotated the Apple Watch to wear it on my right wrist.

I double-wrist, too, with my Apple Watch on my right hand (although left hand when worn alone)... but when it's there, I'm usually just checking weather or "rings" on the watch face and don't interact much, so the crown and button on the right are fine.

My Apple Watch is "ancient" - a Series 1 that I got in 2017 (for heart monitoring after a health scare). This past spring, the original battery bulged and popped the screen off. I got a battery and repair kit for $16 to fix it myself. It is stuck at WatchOS 6 (so no official support for Apple Fitness+ or Zwift), but I use HeartCast for HR monitoring on Zwift and SleepWatch for sleep monitoring. I'll upgrade when it finally gives up the ghost... and probably get an LTE one so I can leave my iPhone at home when I go for bike rides.
