Better every day dial color?

Using these watches as some easy example pics I was able to grab (although I would love me a sky dweller), so not a poll about these watches per se…

Not saying blue or white is the best overall (might argue black is) but just curious what you guys think goes better with most outfits/activities between just these two options?

I think white might be more flexible, but if the blue isn’t a crazy shade I can see it also being flexible.

If you were to buy one watch to wear everyday, which dial color would you go with?

Between those two, a deep dark blue, aka the cult-status SKX009....for those that didn't know yes, it's indeed blue.

Otherwise black.

Black

It really depends on your overall dress style, skin tone and environments in general. But blue is always the safe choice.

Either. I voted blue because it's a favorite color and I favor some color as opposed to white.

I love blue the most but make no mistake, there are some outfits that don't work with blue dials and nothing is sadder than someone wearing a blue dial with a conflicting outfit. White dials go with everything. Either way you'll want to get black and brown leather straps to make them more outfit versatile too.

💯 . The white on steel bracelet can be a little sterile, white dial with brown or black leather would soften it up, and certainly can make very flexible with a nato and bring in any color with the blue dial not being able to say the same.

I think the poll is showing there’s just something about blue though 🧐

Honestly, you can make an argument for either. But I lean towards blue. White can look and feel a little formal sometimes, and formal isn't 'every day'. Blue seems more fitting.

See I would have thought the blue is more formal than white, very interesting!

Everything's subjective. But to me, your basic black or white are the most formal and conservative and then blue - like any other colour - is less formal, and more playful.

true. Though, I don't think natos work on the two specific models he's looking at. Especially the Rolex. Both watches lean formal but again leather will tone that down (especially a mid to light, not dark browna) and white is more outfit friendly. I have both blue and white. Everyone loves blue but again, your gonna find at least once a week, it's not gonna work outfit-wise

I wouldn't put a nato on any of the four watches in the OP.

Natos work a treat on field watches, divers, and fliegers. None of the above.

Yea was thinking of other styles when I threw the nato out there, agree not on these examples

Best color dial is subjective. I think the blue dials pictured are easier to read at a glance.
