My first citizen and my first solar powered watch. Not gonna lie I totally bought this for the very attractive dynamic dial which i came across while scrolling through youtube 🤪. It definitely does not disappoint. The dial really delivers and plays with the light very well. The watch is also a comfort to wear because of its light weight and comfortable rubber strap. Just my bad luck though, the chapter ring is slightly misaligned! I thought this was a signature Seiko problem?! 🤣 Ah well i'll have to learn to live with it. Happy weekend everyone. 😊

Edit: i forgot to ask about best practices in taking care of a solar watch. Any experienced advice would help. Thanks 🤗

I understand it’s very important not to let it stop. I put mine in the backyard to get some sun for a couple hours every couple of months.

I will probably put it for a few hours on a window sill the day after i am done using it before putting it away for a few weeks. Would that work?

The manual will say how much light it needs for a full charge and how long a full charge lasts. Use that as a guide. It also depends if your watch box has a glass window because even indoor light charges it a little. I give it more light than it really needs but it’s easy to do.

Thank you once again. I havent gone into the website yet. It comes with a qr code manual. I guess to save paper. In line with the environmental protection theme.
