Hello!

Hi there! You can call me Huck and I hail from somewhere in South East Asia. Only recently gotten into watches early this year, after I got my first "permanent" job (I work in IT) and being able to splurge a little more freely. Sudden interest in watches, went on YouTube and jumped down the rabbithole and now I'm here. Life is funny.

Pardon the background for my watches in the picture. I've put my three current favourites on the same display shelf as the toy figures I've been gifted/collected over the years. Planning to get a proper watchbox.

About the watches:

On the most left is an Alba AEFD557. It being solar-powered attracted me. Disappointed it has no lume but I love the design, very light and small in presence and the ability to have Kanji day option.

Middle is....a cherished fake Seiko Prospex?/SKX?/Turtle? (Its a mish mash hahaha!) from an old friend of mine. He learned that I wanted to start collecting watches, so just gave it to me (he started preferring smaller digital Casios anyways). It had a really terrible rubber strap so I gave it a little love by cleaning it and changing to a stainless steel bracelet. Somehow it's also automatic (though I highly doubt its an actual Seiko movement and it's something from China)

Lastly on the most right, a modded Casio GA2100 Casioak. Given the stainless steel case treatment along with a rubber strap with steel clasp. Currently the one I wear the most.

Anyways, sorry if this was a long introduction!

Welcome. I always suspected Obi-Wan would be a Seiko man.
