New Seiko release - SSK019

I’ve been considering getting one of Seiko’s new GMTs and couldn’t decide if I liked the blue or the black/grey better. Then I found out they just released this with the 2-color chapter ring! SSK019.

Love it, colour really pops in the light. Bezel works well with the two tone, looks completely black at certain angles but nice grey black shade. Actually works well with different strap options (check out my page for different photos). I’m fairly new to the hobby so not a huge amount of experience with other brands / watches but this is a keeper.

Thanks. I’m not a huge fan of the cyclops over the date window, but I can live with it. I’ve heard this is not a “true GMT” because you can’t just jump the hour hand forward/back when you move to a different time zone. But that’s not a big deal either, just takes some extra adjustment to reset all the hands.

Definitely a contentious point, the cyclops. Marmite- love it or hate it.
