I’ve seen a few recent posts about Bremont. I just got their new S302 Supermarine Ocean. Assessment below. I had their previous GMT diver version (black with tan leather strap) on my wish list for a while. Decided to get this one instead. I like the grey dial and strap, and also the change to a 24 hour bezel. I got it directly from Bremont online at a reduced price. There was no indication of a sale, but it came up $550 less than listed. Overall, I’m very happy. Seems well built. It also came with a nice dark blue leather watch roll, which is probably worth ~$150. There was no mention of that in their listing, so nice surprise. It also came with a card with the test results showing it meets the ISO standard (-4/+6 sec/day), with a mean value of +1.06. I included a picture with my black dial Omega 300m for a size and color comparison.
Positives:
- 40mm fits my 7.3 inch wrist well. It may wear a bit bigger than a typical 40mm due to long lugs. Some feel it’s a bulky watch, but no complaints on the thickness/weight.
- I like the off-white dial and bezel markings. Gives it a vintage look.
- 2 color blue and green lume looks great.
- As mentioned above, I like the grey, and they did a good job matching the strap, ceramic bezel, and dial colors.
- Domed sapphire crystal.
- This is limited production and case back is marked with the number out of 400.
- Accuracy seemed to vary a bit over the first few days, but now it’s running about -1 sec/day, which is great. Seems more accurate when the spring is fully wound.
- Bezel rotation feels great. Solid clicks with the right amount of resistance.
Negatives:
- Pricey for a modified ETA movement and a dial with painted hour markers.
- No lume on the bezel markers.
- I’m not thrilled with the 2-toned case. The black probably looks fine on the black dial/bezel version, but for this grey version, I would prefer all steel color case.

I recently picked up an Alt1-ZT... give that 3-piece, 2-tone case some time to settle in. Hope that you'll come to appreciate it... no other watch has that construction. Congrats on your piece!
Congrats on the purchase.
I like it and love they are releasing some 40mm cases too. How does the GMT work on this one? Is it a proper traveller GMT?
I was looking forward to this release. Now I’ve seen it in the metal I think I actually prefer the original.
That is a good looking 👀 watch ⏱️

No. It is a caller type GMT.
