Review of an affordable "mono-hand" watch

I recently bought this watch on grey market for 50€. The brand is from Belarus so it's maybe not the best time buy a watch from this country because of the war between Russian and Ukrainian (considered that Russia seems to be the bad guy in the story) but I can't resist. The deal was to good.

About the watch, It's a mechanical watch so It's pretty thin. The indication of the time is aproximative but we all know we don't have watches to tell the time.

Of course the principal element of this watch is the fact it has only one hand. Its shape combines to the style of the numerals give to the watch driver vibes.

For this price, it is not hight quality of course, but there are no apparent defects and the watch feel pretty solid.

About the dimension It's 38mm diameter and its very thin (7,5mm).

There is an original but discret grey sunburst dial. I had not seen it when I baught the watch on the grey market.

About the box that comes with the watch, It's still very simple and minimalistic. It's just a paper box with the brand logo on it. Again, for the price I think it is normal.

The bracelet is just OK but it is a real bracelet from the brand. I mean the brand name is engraved on the leather and on buckle.

I have to confess that I do not wear it often because you know I have other and better watches that need wrist time. But with its little driver style, it is the watch I take when I take my car (which is very rare because I live in city center).

Wow, someone has Luch :) I was born and lived in Belarus for 18 years so seeing it here is just hilarious 😆 Not a huge fan though - they probably have like 25 different collections (not models) with cheap quartz watches, but apparently quality is somewhat ok 👌 Friend of mine has a very limited edition President watch (quartz chronograph in nice wooden box) which is gifted from President hands for achievements to the country

Nice case shape on this one. Sometime the story behind the watch is more important than the watch itself.

I was looking at these recently. I think the unisex Speed is interesting looking and a good way to use the single handed aesthetic (looks like a tachometer)

I agree and I really like the semi open caseback one the new version. Unfortunetly mine does not have it.

The only watch that defines a complication, as a minute and second hand. 😂😂😂

There are few to no angels on either side of this conflict, just greedy politicians, arms manufacturers, globalist power struggles, and many innocent people caught in the conflict. The US would not allow Russian nukes in Cuba, Russia would not allow NATO nukes on its border in the Ukraine either. Who can blame either. Having enemies at or near your border is not fun, ask Israel. As for the watch, it is made buy people who like having jobs, so enjoy it.
