NWA - Old classic design from another era

This is a one-of-two purchase, my wife got a women’s version which we’ll post soon. A great design from another era of watch making. 32mm, 69g, titanium/gold inlay case and bracelet, 8mm thick, and diamond chip hour markers are not the look of today. This is, however a fine looking watch that feels like almost nothing on the wrist. In Seamaster tradition, the hour hand features a quick setting hour hand, so easily used for travel. It also has 120m water resistance, but I don’t think I’ll put this 30+ year old to that test! It’s hard to do justice to the look in pictures, but the dull sheen of the titanium matches the 18k gold inlay and the overall look is subtle, but still dressy. Nice addition to the box - review to come.

Thanks, we enjoyed meeting you too! These were ‘in the mail’ this past week, just arrived today from Germany.

Wow! Titanium and gold is not a combination you hear of often!

Indeed! From what I’ve seen online, this is something Omega did, but no one else ever really figured out.

This is on the short list. I’ve always wanted a Polaris!

Wow, now that could get me into collecting vintage. Stunning. Enjoy.

That's cool as penguin feet

I have one too! Mine is the “multifunction” with a digital display behind the dial. As the name implies, it has multiple digital functions. It’s a beautiful piece!

Very cool, I like the way the color of the digital display integrates into the overall colors of the watch. These are great pieces.
