Alpinist GINZA! That's why I had really considered this to the watches natural habitat 😉
haha i feel that... i did go to ginza in 2018 but i wasn't into watches yet... oh man if i knew then what I know now all those JDM's , honestly came back with a suitcase of japanese art books... not that there is anything wrong with that but i would have had much less stress with a couple of watches lol.
And to be fair to my hiking... i hike 90% in cities and 10% in nature so maybe it makes sense that i have an urban alpinist, as much as I love the alpinist with the compass (i have an sna411 with a bezel too) I live in England and the sun might wink at you from time to time, but i just use one of those suunto compasses that clips on and dont worry about having that on my EDC watch, i do have a mudmaster though... worn... twice sigh.
Funny - I don’t think Ginza actually has many roads that are in the style of the watch dial anymore. For me, feels like I’m in Gion Kyoto when I glance at it (pic above). As for hiking (both urban and alpine) I’m so happy it’s a 200m adventure watch as well as looking cool.

Here's my shot from the trip.
