If I am not mistaken they are resurrected/zombie brand (not a bad thing, there are lots of them out there) by a gentleman who has been in the industry for quote some time. Far more interesting than many brands in their price range. I do have issues with the marketing, IE the 1805 nonsense, and this part of their marketing:

“The creations of Antoine Tavan are favoring the craftsmanship and the art of fine watchmaking for over two centuries. Our brand ensure you the purchase of high quality watches completely hand drawn and hand made. Every single element here is hand-cut, sculpted and assembled by one single person. The results are watches respecting the highest Swiss watchmaking traditions.“

That simply isn’t true now is it? They are not hand cutting, sculpting, and assembling the movement or even case no? Getting past that (which they can and should fix), I can do nothing but appreciate them standing out from the crowd design wise.

This is a nice way to get a Svend Andersen Cartier Pasha Jour et Nuit inspired homage (in this case a good thing) for a fraction of the price.

He has a number of other neat pieces, granted at higher price points.

thank you very much for your reply, that's right at this price range obviously it's not a in house, I would say not even the case. But I like this aesthetics and concept, it's something different without being outrageous.

Exactly. For about $1300, even if the dial is handmade, that is cool. Throw in an ETA 2824 for a little more than a grand is pretty cool.
