Has anyone else seen the Christopher Ward Bel Canto?

I was on the Zoom call yesterday for the new hour chiming watch.  I was wondering if others had seen this and thoughts.

Pros - fantastic VFM, open bridged (MB&F style), hour chime, grade 5 Ti

Cons - Small face may lack legibility

Silly price at £2995 (extra 300 for the bracelet in Ti).

300 being made,  100 gone. I can get in before the public on Tues...

Talk me out of it

What do you mean by silly price. It's just an hour chime. Meister makes one for about the same price.

And where will the value be in 5 years with the cw name. I have my name on the list, but I might cancel and just put it towards my ordered Daytona.

I love CW. But they don't make watches worth that price, regardless of complication. Hard pass.

I can’t get behind the single hand thing. My Yes watch is a single hander and I can’t read it at a glance. I think 3k for the watch is a good price point (apparently CW and MS are same firm). This watch is prettier though

I agree. I can't do the single hand. I didn't know they were the same form. I don't think it's a great deal. Prob the same chime. I doubt it will hold it's value.

So, are we going to buy? Will it be worth the same in 5 years?!

I like CW and it's nice seeing them continue to expand their complication offering but this is a bit steep for a complication that isn't so practical. I'd pass, but that's just me.
