Casio for work/grab and go

Seiko or Citizen for quartz

Overall japanese brands are usually the way to go as a starter :)

What do you think about Timex Marlin chronograph series?

Orient or Seiko if looking for mechanical.

I Have heard that the Bambino 3 isn't that great? Opinions?

Timex is also great

the Marlin chrono you mentioned is pure class

So a citizens or the timex?

for me personally Citizen

if you like the style go for a Eco-Drive divewatch

but if you want something more classy go for the Timex

If u had to choose what would you buy as a unique piece that has respect and a conversation starter?

Or what about a Q timex or a Waterbury Chrono Timex or maybe a Midtown Chronograph Timex?

some dont like the 41mm size but they just released 38mm versions so that should be no problem

other "problem" is that it only has a mineral crystal but for that price it's absolutely fine

i dont have much Timex experience but they all seem to be great budget watches

Deep Blue, Seiko, Timex and Bulova

Bulova what model specifically? And Seiko as well.

Seiko 5 for sure. Bulova you just have to see what hits ya. Deep Blue, you really need to look at for a diver. Last but not least Nodus. That and Deep Blue are favorites of mine.

I saw you mentioned Zepplin under the $600 price point, the other post. Any models u suggest at 40mm?

take a look at a Baltany. This has a fantastic Saphire crystal for 153$.

Timex chrono's use Citizen movements so it's all down to comfort and which one you can't put back in the display.

Orient would be my first choice.

Depends on your budget, but I'd say Tissot. The PRX is massive bang for buck...
