A tale of 2 watches

My grandfather recently passed away, leaving with me these two watches, because he knew that I have a fascination with them. I don't really know the full history of both of them, but one is a Seiko quartz watch from 1989 that he earned by working for AT&T selling phone and Internet line in Oklahoma. He earned it for being inducted into the achivers club, which I'm not too familiar with, but I believe that is for the top sellers in the nation. The Guess watch is a fashion watch from the 1990s (I know what we all think about fashion watches), but it means something to me. I hope to continue their lives by my adventures up in Alaska.

My sincere condolences to you and your family, bud. Those are precious and priceless heirlooms. No need to apologize for any of them. They are very classy and are a testament to who your grandfather is and was. Wear them with great honor and pride.

What quartz movement does the Seiko have? It looks similar to the V700
