I'm looking for a mechanical gmt that has a simple dial, and is relatively thin and under 39mm.
Oddly specific but figured if anyone would know of something that fits the bill, it'd be my fellow crunchers.

The one that comes to mind for me is the Christopher Ward C63 GMT. It's 39mm, but I don't know of any GMTs that are smaller.
Maybe the CW C65 Dune GMT is a millimeter smaller at 38mm.
Zelos Horizon GMT is 40mm, but only has a 45mm lug to lug. Worth a look.
Montblanc heritage GMT. Prices are all over the place new or grey market. 40mm case, 48mm L2L, 11.5 thick. 20mm lug width
You might check out the Cedric Bellon CB01 GMT on watchangels.ch. Not sure what your budget is, but these are 39mm diameter, 47mm lug to lug, and 11.45mm in height. They’re also a very simple design.
Nodus Sector GMT. they have some good reviews out there from respected blogs. 38mm case, 12mm thick.

That's exactly what I was hoping for!
There is also the 36mm Glycine Airman
That's exactly what I was hoping for!
The case is a tad bigger than the requested 39mm or under but it’s definitely a simple dial.
