Favorite divers under $1,500 USD?

I am searching for a Seamaster alternative that is around the same size at 42mm, with black dial. There are tons of options out there but I am curious what are some of the favorites at the $1,500 price point? Few brands that came to mind were Manta, Formex, Oris...etc.

Fan of the Holton Pro and Beachmaster NIVO myself.

Also Nodus' Sector Series.

Helm if you want actual ISO toughness and rock bottom pricing.. you'll have to wait tho.

Stirling Timepieces, Marathon, Weiss, Winfield, MkII, CWC and Sangin Instruments round out the higher end, mil type watches.

For me it's the SPB143. Honestly any Seiko under 1500 would be fantastic.

My seiko turtle and bulova devil diver are both solid divers after I regulated them
