Classic Brown

When I think of "classic" dress watches I usually imagine them with black leather straps. I have a box of straps that has grown over the years. Yesterday I decided to swap the black alligator strap on my seldom worn Hamilton for a stitched brown one. I was attending a party, and the brown seemed to better match my attire. I was quite pleased with the result. Too bad it was cold at the winery, and I never took off my jacket to show it off.

I prefer brown straps for white dials. Black is gorgeous but extremely formal, brown is just as classy but the softer contrast gives it a slightly more versatile and casual look imo

Gorgeous hamilton btw

That’s an absolute beaut. I’m definitely lacking a dress watch in my collection - this would fit the bill nicely

I’ve always loved that watch. Almost bought it.
