Very cool. I notice that the brand is shown as Austin, but it looks like a Nivada. Do you happen to know the relationship between Austin and Nivada, if any?
Thankyou & well spotted! Yes this was made by Nivada for a Jewelry store chain in Austin Texas called Gordon or Gordon's Jewelry. They also had other watches from other various brands rebranded under the Austin Premier name. Nivada also made the Chronomaster in the US under the Croton name & Le Marc for example!
I would certainly entertain selling it, but you should know that it is a re-dial. I had purchased it because I was really attracted to the salmon colored dial. It had been listed for sale on our local watch forum by a respected member who is well versed in vintage pieces, so I had no concerns with buying it as my first vintage piece. After purchasing, I started doing some research, and quickly discovered that it was a re-dial, but decided to keep the watch because I still thought it was a gorgeous piece. I'm disappointed that it was sold to me without that disclosure (especially considering the supposed knowledge level of the seller), so there is no way that I could sell it in good conscious without making that known.
If you look at the subdials, you can see that the minute markers bleed through onto the main dial. In addition, the coloration of the dial isn't completely consistent.
If you're still interested, I'd be happy to send you additional photos.

Let me take a breath from the last purchase and I will revisit the question in a few months :))
