I think you can‘t make anything wrong with this decision - also the new model has some improvements over mine which is from 2018.

I have been tracking this watch for a while hoping to find it on sale for <$500…. Finally found it on sale and I purchased the watch!! Arriving tomorrow. So excited. Cheers!
Amazing watch, especially the newer models with the emphasis on bezel characters improvement. I didn’t like the ones with the printed bezel characters where they disappeared in certain light.
I think it’s incredible value for the money!

Yea it really is great - love it!
It‘s more or less my daily driver - but yes, it is a little bit on the bigger site (43mm) would suggest you try one on at an AD to see if its somerhing for you!
But in genaral - you can‘t do something wrong with Tissot and especially the seastar
