Tudor BB 58 GMT

Hello crunchers,

Last weekend I was at the Watches and Wonders in Geneva, a really great experience!

I would like to start a discussion here about the Tudur Black Back 58 GMT!

A perfect watch on the spec sheet in my opinion:

  • New GMT inhouse movement

  • COSC + METAS certified

  • 39 mm + thinner then the Pro

  • T-Fit clasp

What more could you want?

I'm actually considering whether this will be my next watch - I've had my eye on Tudor for a long time.

What is your opinion?

I want a monochrome version with 5-Link bracelet option on this, then, I would genuinely get one. Otherwise, good looking watch.

Other than some other color combinations (which is inevitable with Tudor) my only big ask is for a more distinctive GMT hand (like the Black Bay Pro GMT)

I really hope they put this movement in a Pelagos 39. My preference would be for them to have a P39 GMT to still have a dive bezel to help differentiate the two similar to how Longines does with the Zulu time and hydroconquest GMT

One of my commercial neighbours who is obsessed with the 16760, did reach out for my opinion of the Tudor BB58 GMT, obviously a nice watch but should not be able to scratch the itch. I prefer the original BB GMT which I purchased even knowing the date function required repair. The larger case size was the relevant factor.
