I would go for the quartz version. The battery is supposed to last 8 years, the solar beat capacitor may last about 16 years. In the long term batteries are easier to find and replace yourself or any watchmaker. This is coming from someone wearing a Citizen Eco-drive 14 years old and without a capacitor change done yet, I do not doubt of the technology, admittedly Citizen are best in class, but I guess Cartier knows what they are doing too.
Also keep in mind that in the Solar beat Tank, the numerals are perforated to allow the light to go through, so their appearance is slightly different from the printed, raised, numerals of the quartz or mechanical versions. This is something you may like or not.

It was a milestone birthday gift and our AD was able to get it prior to so I jumped…if you don’t have a timeline you can be patient…also my wife loves bracelets and the solarbeat only comes on a strap (bracelet is a bit over $900 USD separate) we got the quartz on a bracelet

yes, that is my opinion also, but i suppose quartz is more reliable, and in my country, we don't have Cartier dealership and service. :s

Ooof ok I think quartz is the way to go then
Quartz. Slimmer, cheaper, easier to maintain.
I'd just get the less costly one.

Quartz all the way
If you can get a solar beat…we ended up going quartz and she is super happy with it
I hear the solar beat is super hard to get, so it’s possible you have no choice either way
