New watch that might be able to scratch the itch

I am fairly new to watch collecting only really starting after the purchase of my Seiko SSK003. Which was the go to watch on my wrist all year. I have received many compliments on it but it was always just a little too much. Don't get me wrong I love it but after wearing it I can see where the smaller watch cry came from. It is a 42.5mm diameter with a 46.5 lug to lug. However where it's really big is the thickness at 13.6mm. That was made further notice after I stopped at the amazing Tudor boutique in Atlanta and got to try the Pelagos and Black Bay. Both of these watches are at what I would call the perfect dimensions. That's when I started looking for an everyday thinner watch and came across the Gentleman. I have heard much about it but the other dials are a little unoriginal and never really sang to me until they came out with the Glacier Blue. I love this color on the PRX however I never really liked the integrated bracelet design that really limited the strap potential of the watch.

I love mine. Great watch.

I always thought the Gentleman was a great choice for anyone looking for an everyday watch in the price range. I'd call the dial "tasteful and restrained" rather than "unoriginal." Good luck with your decision!

Great watches in all dial colors.

The green dial is my favorite but the sector dial is a little off putting for me. The sunburst dark blue is amazing and is arguably one of the best blue watches sub a 1000. Unfortunately already have a blue watch but would recommend it always. Hope you enjoy your watch it really is a cracker of a watch.

I've had it a couple years now-one of my favorites.

Go for it! The Gentleman is often overlooked in Tissot’s range, but it’s a very nice piece. The 80 hour reserve is very nice to have. Haven’t seen the blue in person, but love the green version

I appericate thickness very well. As I can feel it and the weight is there. But again, it depends on how it fits on your wrist. But size over 44mm and up is personal. It depends on the watch and design as well on the wrist is 110% match or not.

I’m wearing 40mm with 14mm thickness, absolutely stunning that way - Nezumi Voiture watch :)
