Do five watches make a collection? They're all too similar to be a collection, right? And I haven't bought, ie collected any for a couple of years now so I can't really be a watch collector. I just like old Seiko divers.
One day I might buy an MM300. One day I might see a Turtle or a 62 MAS in the metal. Or maybe I won't.
Just idle Sunday Seiko thoughts. ๐

Yes, 5 watches make a collection even if they are all the same watch! Looking good!
Yep. You've got yourself a watch collection.๐ If I were to collect from one Brand it would be Seiko. More Presage examples for sure.๐น
At least two watches are needed to call it a collection, so uโre in! Many collectors aim at a very precise target, so uโre in twice
Yes. Great selection of Seiko divers! What can you tell us about the one on the brown strap? #seikodiver

A Seiko SilverWave Z from 1978. It looks a bit submariner-ish compared to the others. I read the following on an old WatchUSeek post recently;
"- S-Wave: (Sub-brand) - An entry level lineup, comprising quartz and 7s26 automatics specifically for the Hong Kong Market. Note that there is also the early/mid '60s "Silverwave" Which many credit to be the originator of the S-Wave sub-brand. Silverwaves seem to be a 'waterproof' watch that preceded the development of Seiko's first true diver's watch."
