New Arrival: Islander Northport blue/white

The new Islander Northport arrived today and I got a few pics of it. It’s a 40mm case but wears very much like an skx. Crown is perfect and doesn’t abrade the back of my hand. Color is just wonderful and the textured dial shows off nicely. I love the hands and they are easy to see in bright light, but not as much in low light. Still not a deal breaker for me. Framed date window at 6 o’clock is just perfect. Haven’t checked the lume yet.
Case is very comfortable and the jubilee style bracelet keeps it centered perfectly. I like the 62mas case very much. The solid end links fit very well to the case and I like the way they look. I will probably be wearing this one mostly on silicone or nato but the bracelet overall compliments the watch nicely and with 6 micro adjust holes to choose from you can get it to that perfect sweet spot. Caseback has a lot of engraved design/wording but is finished well and doesn’t scratch.
This is my 3rd watch with a Miyota 9015 and it is a great movement. Smooth sweep and hasn’t lost a second since I set it this morning.
Flat sapphire with sapphire bezel insert match up perfectly. Not sure, but I think it’s clear ar.
Overall, I am completely satisfied with the design and build of this watch and know right off this one is a keeper. I will probably keep my eyes open for a restocking of the seafoam green one as well. In my mind I could easily justify owning both. Well done to Marc and Ryan at Island Watch.

6.5"? You should be able to pull that off. 40mm and female end links go in your favor. 👍
