This is my grandfather’s #hamilton #quartz #daydate watch from 1985, with a branded #buckle.

A relative recently found it in a drawer and gave it to me a few months ago. I just got around to installing a new #battery today, and it jumped to life! This watch hasn’t ticked since Ronald Reagan was president!

The funny thing is, I remember my grandfather wearing this watch. I’m really excited to start wearing it and bond with it.

I miss him, and I think this watch is a cool way to remember him.
