Retired, disabled watch lover for almost my whole life. I don't buy expensive watches,, although I do stay up on the newest trends. I wear large watches, since I have a 23 cm wrist. Other than that...huge New Orleans Saints fan, Baltimore Orioles, LSU and UT Austin fan.
Howdy folks, from the Capital of Texas, Austin! I am retired ( disabled, bad lower back, right shoulder, left leg! ) and I have been into watches since I was a young boy. I used to save up my money to buy Timex watches! In high school, I had 15 or so watches, and my friends used to ask me why I had so many, and my answer was always, I like watches!
I am a really big guy...like NFL Offensive Lineman size! My wrists are very large...9".... and I wear larger watches. Not for anyone else...I am older...and my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. My wife likes them, and when I decide to wear one of my dress watches, she looks at it and says, " That's an old mans watch!" So I change watches! If people do notice my watch in public, they don't say anything. But, I wear what looks appropriate on my wrist! The watch below is a 45 mm, 50 mm lug to lug ( I think ).
