A pair of Swiss Military inspired pieces added to my collection

Glycine watches have been on sale at Ashford for the past month or so. After scoping out the offerings I put a couple on my wish list. I found myself going back to the website almost every day so I decided to pull the trigger on two that I really liked. I ended up with a Combat Sub 46 automatic and an Airpilot GMT quartz. The Combat Sub 46 differs from the standard Combat Subs in that the case is entirely brushed with no polished surfaces. I prefer SS tool watches to have as few polished surfaces as possible. Fully brushed suits me just fine. The Airpilot GMT is available in many color variations. I went for the black and silver. This is my first fully black PVD/IPB watch. (Assuming PVD not DLC due to the price point.) I had to swap the NATO strap on the Combat Sub because the included strap was a bit small for my large wrist. I found one that matched the original color combination and overall appearance at Crown & Buckle.

Enjoy! I have a pair of Glycines that I love -- an Airman and a Combat Sub.

Great choices. I've been a Glycine fan for 20 years.
