Believe It or Not…

Who would have thought watch collecting might not be the only irrational pursuit in my life?

Crunchers seem an eclectic bunch. Have other pursuits you’d care to share? (Or does this stray too far from watch content?)

Legos and toys. I’ve run out of room to display stuff.

I totally feel you. I used to have an electric board and I was always looking into them to see what other I can buy. Until the electric engine burned 😭 then I stopped looking into them and look into regular skateboards

Been in bike clubs (MC) all my adult life (53 now) , play ukulele and work in Vape industry (started as a hobby).

·

As my username suggests, I have a Star Wars addiction, I also enjoy building things of wood.

I went sorta the other direction. In my youth there was only one type of skateboard. (First one had metal wheels! Polyurethane wheels were amazing development!) I gravitated to long boards. Still have a couple I use with land paddle for workouts. OneWheel is more like a magic carpet than any other board/scooter.

That’s a wise decision, I’ll probably do the same as I start to get older lol

I love playing golf with vintage clubs. Especially half sets made up of the "best sellers" from when I was growing up.

Think Big Bertha Deuce 2-wood, Ping Eye square grooves, and Cleveland OG wedges. Some of these were before my junior golf days, but they were still popular.

TBH I do install modern second hand shafts, but that's because most don't realize how important a properly fitted and tuned driver/iron/wedge shaft is.

Still pretty fun to watch ppl react. Especially other golf nerds, have more conversations about life and reminiscing over times past when I use them. Also proves the point that properly fitted clubs, get better results than off the shelf expensive stuff.

Guitars. It’s bad.

Believe it or not, I’ve built a few telescopes. Astrophotography efforts are very low key afocal affairs. M13, Hercules Cluster
