Studio Underd0g watch review
As soon as I got, I fell in love with it.
It is fresh, juicy and it is trying something new in a world where changes are not always welcome.
It is a great watch for summer and as a conversation starter.
The dial is the focus of course and I love the different types of layers that create a great contrast and a more watermelonish effect.
The numbers are a bit difficult to read, but, in my personal opinion, it is a sacrifice that I will to do in exchange of watermelon seeds.
Even if it is a bit tall (around 13,6 mm) it wears well also on small wrists. The cade has a diameter of 38,5 mm and a lug to lug of 44,5. In the picture you can see it on my 6inches kitty wrist.
The strap is really good. It is soft and it has good adaptability and somehow makes feel the watch lighter.
Extra point for the help provided by the customer support that have done a great work and went extra mile for accommodating my request.
I really like also the back show case. The mechanism is interesting, even if I am afraid for the future prices of the service.
The price for all their watches are 500£ or 540 €. The price is more than fair for what will you get.
They sell them in batches twice a year so far. Please don't buy it from scalpers!
I would definetely suggest it to everyone.
Everyone should have a funny one and I think this is the best you can get.
Check out on their website the other funny alternatives like the chocolate chips mint cookie (next funky one in the collection?). Richard is quite a character! 😀 🍉

The movement is interesting albeit not terribly robust . . . I have the mint chip and it’ll be one of those situations where the cost of service will equal the cost of the watch, so I do hope the company uses better movements at some pt . . . A reliable eta or sellita at the least. But I get why they went with a seagull starting out and the price pt is def a draw with the fun colors.

Probably more efficient but less fascinating to watch. My hope is that I will never need to service it. Wishful thinking 😀

I agree with the case proportions - the case diameter+lug to lug+case height ‘shouldn’t’ work but it does. Just an example of a well thought out design (same goes for the brand name and movement text on the dial too).
I had a slight issue with the crown and they just asked for it back and fixed it with minimal fuss - top customer service
