Thanks, Steve! It started off as an SRPD55 (5KX), but the only parts left from that are the movement, case, and crown. The dial, chapter ring, bezel, and bracelet are all currently on other builds. I started to miss my SNK807, so I had a new dial coming for this one, with the plan to return this dial back to its original case. Unfortunately, it must have gotten lost in the mail, so the shipper has notified me today that he is resending one.

I can't help you with your appetite. I also already had a piece of sausage and a hard boiled egg. 😂

Thanks, Steve. You could definitely say I "went to town" on it. 😂 I bought it specifically to mod as my work watch, and I got a great deal on it. I wanted a diver style case with push/pull crown. It made more sense at the time to buy and mod a complete watch, rather than building one from aftermarket parts. I haven't gone the route of AliExpress yet, and the bigger named modding retailers can be pretty expensive. I think the only parts not currently being used are the case back, the Hardlex, the hands, and the bezel insert. I'm sure I can find a home for those, eventually.

Thank you, Andy. It may be, but I don't mind one dedicated watch to take all the abuse. I built this one specifically for work: the 5KX case provides enough water resistance to deal with rain, and a push/pull crown so I can easily give it a few winds over the weekend to keep it running. Big, chunky, legible hands, and a dual time bezel to keep track of Zulu time.
