Hey everyone i am thinking about picking this quartz moon-faze tank style watch from ebay. I like the look and the style i just need to know of its too small for my 7โ wrist. The seller says its 36mm with crown and 27mm dial. Is that too small?
So for reference. I also have a 7" wrist and have a Cartier Santos Medium, which measures roughly 35mm across and 42-43mm L2L. It wears smaller compared to modern standards, but positively colossal against the first incarnations of this watch. I don't know what style or brand of watch you are considering, but I guess it pays to consider the original aesthetic of the watch and how this works for you.ย
Having said this, rectangle/square shaped watches tend to wear bigger than their circular counterparts. Best to get as many images as you can from the seller and make up your mind from there.
Iโm leaning towards it being fine and i like the watch i just wanted to get a few opinions in case my wife says its too small lol. ย I want some people on my side hahah
This is the watch i dont know why its not showing on the post
OK. Look it's your money and you spend it how you want, but if it was me and I was after a gold rectangular dress watch, I'd go for the Seiko Tank. At least, if something goes wrong, it wouldn't be hard to contact Seiko to figure out how to resolve. This look slightly NQR.ย

I think it's ok, but without this leather under the watch.
