I choose "D" The affordable minute repeater from where ever in the world you decide to make it.  I'm not buying one of those other three boring watches.

Did you actually look at the pictures? "not to your taste" would be a legitimate critique, but 'boring'? Who else makes an entirely original tonneau case watch in this segment? Look beyond the specs before posting please

I chose the simple three-hander with the NH35. It occurs to me as I sit here, I am wearing a $300 microbrand watch with a NH35, and I can't explain why yours would be 50% more expensive. I can't speak to your finishing, I only know your brand from pictures that you post here. It seems like a basic question. If all that value is in the design, well, I just don't know...

Sign up for our mailing list and get on the pre-order KS discount, super early bird will be very competitive.  However, at the end of the day if the design does not speak to you, then you should pass on it. We live or die by our designs!

One, good luck with the launch and I hope it works out well. It is cool that you are checking with the community.

C would be default as I prefer a no date option and mechaquartz all day over NH35 for me. Good or bad, the NH35 seems to be the go to for all the entry level microbrands and if I am going to consider an inexpensive KS brand, design and movement differentiator are key.

The indices are straight lines.  I would prefer script numerals.  The hands look like leftovers from a dive watch assembly line.  They are utilitarian to hold lume and have no graceful curves or bevels.  The cases are polished want to be dressy but the dials translate otherwise.

There, I didn't use the word boring once.  I don't mean to be an ass but I am your consumer.  I spend money on watches.  I'm telling you and other watch makers exactly what I will buy but watch makers like to make watches similar to what everyone else is making from the same movements as everyone else is using.  Robert, build me a watch that is as special as your name sounds so I can write a stellar review on WatchCrunch.

Ditch both and go with Miyota 90xx series.

Not that you asked, but that design at that price, no thanks.

No chance I am ever buying anything on KS. Get a real loan and do business the traditional way. If I don't know you personally, I am not about to cough up my hard earned cash for a promise. Nope.

The NH35 is a go-to for micros because they are cheap movements. Like ridiculously cheap. And they look the part.

reliable, sure but with those specs, reliable is easy enough.

I agree. I am not bashing it, but it is the absolute cheapest option for mass produced Japanese movements and it seems every other kickstarter brand was using them so they could claim they have a Japanese automatic movement. Countless brands were making no date watches without even bothering to take the date wheel off. Honestly, I would take the NH35 over anything coming from Seagul or Hangzhou. At least I can service a basic NH35 (by service I mean literally replace it with another movement).
