Well, my wrist is 16,5 cm (6,49 inches) and I thought the rubber strap was going to be really uncomfortable, but surprisingly it is perfect for this watch. Light, and you can wear it under your shirt sleeve. Did you try it?

I generally wear it for the beach or doing work on the house. I had the rubber on for a while and it bugged me always finding the it would flop out of the metal sleeve etc. And became uncomfortable if working in the garden.
