Indeed. This is about as basic a GS as you can buy but I can't find fault in it. The dial & the finishing are superb.
Agreed - I think this level of finishing compares so favorably to a modern Rolex, for example, with their simple case sides and stamped hands. Standards evolve very slowly in this industry, but I think 10+ years from now GS finishing will be appreciated for the high bars it sets at various price points.

Perfectly on the mark. Ironically and unbelievably I like it more than my Rolex DateJust 116234. But by no means I’m saying that is better I just like it more!

I think this is the most underrated watch in their lineup. No it is not cheap, but it is an exquisitely designed annual calendar. My favorite watch in my collection. Stealthy too because nobody knows what it is.
