Tudor the brand I love but seems to like trolling me more (rant)

I really like Tudor watches but they seem to miss the mark for me most the time.

I love my Pelagos 42 it’s amazing and I wear it most the time but when they made the 39mm. Witch is a better size for myself and 90% of people.

They left out the date complication and the and the self adjusting spring clasp. I like a date complication and on a £3k+ watch it should be a option they could do a date one and a none date one.

Same with the Tudor Royal I love my 41mm day date but they only offer the 37mm in date only. Wick I loved the size of but the day date dial looked so much better. So I got 41mm but I still think. A 37mm day date would be amazing.

I don’t own but I really like the look of the black bay gmt opaline dial but I can’t stand the fake rivet bracelet if the offered that on. A Jubilee bracelet it would look great. They are now making a black bay with a jubilee but it’s 21mm not 20mm.

I know there is much more important things to moan about in the world right now haha so take all this with a grain of salt.

I'm 100% in agreement! Let's see a 39mm Pelagos with a date complication, a blue dial option and a choice on the clasp (some people rave about the T Fit)! Faux aka fake rivets? Come on, the BB58 is a legend now. No need for faux rivets. Remember the old Mustangs wist air louvers behind the doors for no reason?

That’s kind of the beauty of watches though, hyper focusing on a small detail to escape the chaos around us.

There’s a few brands it seems that enjoy trolling their customer base.

I think the problem is that if they did all that it would pull sales away from the other ones and it’s all about the bottom line sadly but never say never

Yeah but I do know you can’t please everybody as well and to be honest I wouldn’t swap my two Tudor watches for any other Tudor watches out at the moment

Id just like a steel Pelegos. Dislike the Bland Bay range, love the Pele but don't like titanium.

·

100% agree. But alas, no such thing as the perfect watch ;)

That would be cool but would be a bit heavy I think

Im that age where I equate weight with quality - had a couple Ti watches & really didn't like 'em 😂

I can't agree more. I love the pelagos style but not without a date, a steel case and a spring clasp.

Also the bb58 needs the adjustable clasp and the thinner movement like the 54. But sadly in their last release it was just a new fxd.

I save my money until Tudor releases one or the other. But I do not spend 4k for a not perfect watch. Especially if the copy brand have fixed those topics already. 4k is in my budget a grail watch.

I’m not really a fan of the black bay with the snowflake hands and round markers should have been the Mercedes hands or square markers like on the Pelagos I do love my Pelagos and it is in my opinion a modern day version of the Tudor submariner in style and spirit a true tool watch

I wish they'd stop cheaping out on the rehaut. What a joke even in the 5k red bull racing no cut out on the rehaut.

That’s just part of the game for them they make watches for the masses not us few it doesn’t look to bad that one though I have to say haha
