Thoughts on Nubeo watches?
To me they're well built watches with many special and limited editions, weird they're not mainstream yet, thoughts on it?

It is an awful lot of money to gamble on an unproven movement in an unproven brand. Sometimes it can work out, but I would admire from a far.

Only in name as on the occasions they come up, the styling is not to my preference, but again, I could be said to have boring tastes I suppose. I know they (or someone adjacent) generates fake press articles like this and use quotes like this:
"Nubeo watches are part of the luxury family, if you are a watch collector of luxury watches, Nubeo watches are good watches that should be on your list, they hold value and art. This is a great choice to choose."
To be fair, perhaps something was lost in translation, but as a whole, that type of stuff puts me off. Again, they seem to make interesting looking watches at reasonable price points, so if people like that, cool.

New brands are always welcome.
Although most of us are very sceptical with new brands.
I have never heared of them. So I can't say anything about the quality, background and fit.
Design impression is always a matter of regional taste. For most north europeans I would say it is quite too much going on at the design.
A lot of gold pvd, a lot of angles.
But on the first sight I see nothing to justify 3,050 USD (!!!!).
It looks like a "try hard wanna look rich" watch.
And if they offer a discount of their watches from over 1,000 USD roughly a third, that means the watch is even noth wort a tenth of the price.

....I made a quick research on google while writing here . The first result are offers on german 123.TV ...so....shopping television.
To understand what that means: Shopping TV in germany is what Bazaars in middle east are...I mean for watches...not for delicious food 😊.
But at the end that are overpriced... not trash...but very close to. As long you don't pay a high price you might have fun for few months or as long as it survives.
But I don't need to make any further researches to understand that this "tourbillon" is a Hangzhou. A chinese movement easy to find in 500 USD or less watches.
So...no recommendation from me.
Please don't feel offended. If you bought already enjoy. But don't do again. And next time ask us before 😊.
