Are watch companies misgenerdering watches?

So what’s this watches pronouns??

38mm diver is summer white. Listed as a her/she! Well I’m offended! I think this should be a them/us! Thoughts?

I'm of the opinion that pronouns shouldn't make the slightest difference to how a person or inanimate object gets treated, but for some unknown reason it's becoming a topic of issue and offence.

It's a watch. I don't think it cares how it is labelled or who buys it.

We as humans put way too much stock in this crap; both positively & negatively.

If a woman can't find a watch she wants on the "womens" side of the aisle, she should feel free to take a peek over the hedge, as it were.

If a man wants to wear a MOP dial with diamond indices, who cares?

Those who care negatively about men wearing women's watches or the reverse should be immediately committed to the nearest mental ward, as they obviously have some unresolved issues to work through.

I would wear this watch except for the fact that I sweat a lot and the strap would get discolored quickly.

I recently saw a young Asian lad on a train wearing a 'female' Tag Aquaracer. He had skinny wrists and it fit him perfectly, so he made the right choice for his needs. A 42mm Aquaracer on his wrist would have drawn far more attention.

38-40mm is my sweet spot. I’d probably replace the strap on that with a different color but other than that, I’d rock it.

Watches should be non-binary. 🤖

I am lost. Respectfully, what are you asking? It’s a timepiece.

Sorry I thought I was clear with the title and description. It’s a 38mm diver (sweet spot for most) but marked up as a ladies watch. My question was to the crunches, is this a ladies watch? To me it seem a good summer watch for a guy, why would they mark this up as a ladies?

Whaaat? I mean I understand what he is asking, but why put it in such a provocative way? If I honestly answer, someone is bound to complain about me being offensive. There is no way of giving an opinionated response to this question without risking a warning from the moderators. I'm just going to say that I am still in the hunt for a white summer timepiece

The pronoun thing is just my clumsy was so saying what the fxck are Blancpain thinking about, this is the actual definition of muppets in marketing.

Ah. No need to distinguish between men or women, imo. It’s anachronistic and does a disservice to the brand and consumer. 37/38 mm is a sweet spot for most but as I’ve been reminded, the L2L is just as important.
