New guy / Monta Noble
I have always worn some sort of watch since I was about 16. I rocked a Nixon or something from the mall for a while and once that died I didn't really wear a watch until I got a quartz Polo watch model from my grandfather after he passed. That sent me down the rabbit hole of automatic watches. Since thee top of the year I got a Seiko Presage, Orient, another Seiko Diver, and a few other entry level watches. I recently found Monta whose headquarters is about 5 minutes from my office. After some research I sold off more than half of my collection for this Monta Noble in Anthracite. I have been wearing this everyday since the 7th of June and it has literally gone from the beach to the boardroom! Took this thing to Miami for a week and back in the office this week. So today marks my 16th straight day of wearing this watch exclusively! I look forward to Monta dropping the new Oceanking sometime this year. That will make a great 2 watch rotation.
New to watches but I fell down the rabbit hole fast. Being local to St Louis, I will have a Monta heavy rotation but love other brands as well.

I just reset it for the first time in 20 days of wearing it! I was running about 15-20 seconds slow so around -1 sec/day on mine!

Monta prides themselves in not doing discounts except during pre-order when they launch a new model. they want to avoid someone paying full retail just for it to go on sale a few weeks later. they do lose a lot of value in the used market so if you can find one used you can get a good deal on it.
