This design just works. The clear legibility, size, colour and yes the blue hands 😍

I do like this watch. It's a big 47.5mm watch but it's a pilot watch so requires size for legibility. As I said I don't think Longines gets enough love

Longines is putting out some great new models. Only wish they decreased their lug to lug measurements. 39mm Hydroconquest is still almost 48–pushing it for my wrist

·

Ceramic Hydro Conquest, bought it a few months ago, I was on a black watch kick, thought the strap and clasp was worth the purchase.

Tough call between the Spirit or the Master heritage. The Spirit range is a really classy twist of a military watch, wich is really my thing. The Master collection have a lot of vintage inspired watches, and many of them are really beautifull... If there's a brand that have them all, IMO, Longines is probably the one.

The Master collection is too vast. I remember spotting this watch nearly 20 years ago and was in awe.

Oh yeah, this is the one. An absolutely beautiful and unique piece. One of my grail watches.

Thank you - I really like this one!

Also, maybe Longines fans could help. I'm interested in Longines Heritage Silver Arrow. The Internet says, it was released in 2021 (which is not long time ago), however, there is very little information available. Anybody knows, what's the story? I'm guessing, it got discontinued, but strangely can't find much info (outside of several listing on chrono24).

Longines Legend Diver and Longines Heritage Classic Sector Dial have both piqued my interest. Nearly bought the diver this summer.

I have the Heritage Classic Sector Dial in silver color.

It is a very interesting watch in the sense that it "change" color during the day and the evening.

People say that nobody look at what your wear for a watch ? It is the only one that I own that will attract attention during the day time due to the silver area how it reflects light. I have seen one person fixated on the movement of my arm as I explained something to them but they never asked what I was wearing. At a distance in a mirror, it also looks a little bit like an Omega.

As the light dim and you get into more an evening setting, the center turns into more of a cream color. ( I took the picture below from here: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/the-longines-heritage-classic-sector) Also, the silver area around the dial will take the colors of the lights in your environment at night so you can get nice colors on that dial and it will change on the setting.

I also looks very nice on a milenese or bead of rice watch band. I don't have one of those for my watch yet.

I do not think that the black version would offer as many changes in the day as I just described.

It is a very interesting dial. Would not mind having this in the collection. Enjoy!

The current version is based on a Longines model from mid 1930s. On the original, the small seconds (petite seconde) was lower and you could not see the 6. Some people do not like that the 6 has been cut in the current model. For myself, I like the current model since it is easy to reference the location of the 30 minutes where the original only had the markers from 25 to 35 minutes.
