Is this homage my first step into the luxury world?

This bold Cartier Santos homage from Specht & Söhne which is not a german brand by the way... 😅

It's between 100-200€ and features a sapphire crystal and a basic Miyota 8 series movement and all the specs we are used to from these chinese brands by now but still...

The Santos is one of these luxury watches that i could actually see myself buying at some point in my life and maybe this Specht & Söhne "Aviator" can help me making that decision that could be years and years away!

I doubt i'll really fall in love with it but it could be the best way to find out if the Santos is really worth waiting for!

Also i'm very interested how good this piece actually is for the price 🤔 Especially the bracelet will be interesting.

Anyway... did you ever buy a homage to,see if the real deal could be worth it?

If yes, what homage did you get and did you end up buying the real thing?

Some of us here has done so even built ones ourselves…it won’t suppress your appetite for the real thing but it can scratch a quick itch …

Trust me you don’t need that to know, the Santos is the real deal and you should get one.

good to know ✌️

Calling that an "homage" is really stretching the boundaries.

I’m betting the case and crystal of that watch are not curved to fit your wrist the way the Santos is.
