Breitling Navitimer 01 stainless steel or leather strap?
Back then, I purchased my Navitimer in a stainless steel bracelet and after 3 month’s I also purchased the leather strap. What do you prefer on a Navitimer 01?

Always buy a watch on the OEM bracelet. You can always get a strap for it later, and usually for a lot less than trying to pick up the bracelet later, if it’s even still available. I have learned these lessons the hard way.
I always get it on the bracelet if available and the custom order a strap for it in exotic leather. I do not order straps from manufacturers always have them handmade.

The photo is a bit misleading because the biggest factor in bracelet vs leather strap with the Navitimer is how each compare on wrist.
I have the 48mm B04 (GMT variant of the B01). The 48mm is comically large on me, but the bracelet masks the perception of lug overhang. If I had mine on the leather strap, the lug overhang would be pretty apparent, so for me, the leather strap is just a non-starter.
It would be more helpful for the community to vote after seeing how each look on your wrist vs how they look on a pillow.
