My word I’m at a crossroads right now! 6/7 years of falling in love with mechanical movements and the watch that’s taking all of my weekend wrist time is a Quartz!!!!??? Just wears amazingly on my wrist!!

I can concur with you on this watch. I have done many thought experiments about a hypothetical whittling down to a one-watch collection - and inevitably after a battle royale in my mind, the ultimate winner ends up being this watch! Shocking revelation even for me!
thing is, there's quartz, and then there's quartz, if you know what I mean?
When you understand how a good, a good quartz movement can be, you'll inevitably start to appreciate them more.
And when it comes to good quartz, no one does it as well as the Japanese.
I don't think the rest of the collection is jealous, but I'm wearing a Seiko solar watch with a titanium case and bracelet. I can barely feel it is there. I hadn't worn the watch for a week, and wanted to set it, but it was just a second off.
Yes, those watches are hassle-free and wear wonderfully.
I think a GS quartz may be in my future 😁

I love the 9F movement! Quartz has some significant advantages over mechanical, more accurate, less maintenance, less affected by impacts, for a daily wear it’s hard to beat! I have 4 GS quartz watches and they are all stunning!
