What watch is this?

I bought this watch at an old antique store for 7 dollars. I saw it was Mechanical and Swiss made so I quickly bought it. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about the brand.

Cool little watch. Just one of the myriad of companies from the 40s-60s making watches under various brand names using off the shelf movements. If it works and cleans up nicely, you can have a cool little watch.

Don't know anything about this particular brand. Watches like this were produced for many brands - jewelry stores, department stores, mail order firms etc, as reliable, quality workhorse watches.

Yours looks like it's in nice condition. It looks like it has an AS/ST 1950 movement with Incabloc shock protection on the balance. Solid and reliable and not much to go wrong with it - no date complication. With regular servicing it could last a lifetime and parts are plentiful, though a service is likely to cost at least 20 times what the watch cost.

The case is probably chrome plated. If it says "stainless steel back" or "fond acier inoxidable" on the case back that means the back is steel and the case is chrome played brass. If it says just "stainless steel" or "all stainless steel" or "acier inoxidable" then the whole case is steel.
