Rolex Day Date: Difference between 118238 vs 128238?

Hi guys,

Currently considering to buy a day-date but the 118238 and 128238 look basically the same to me.

Does anyone know the differences?

The 218238 uses the newer caliber 3255 versus the caliber 3155 in the 118238. Not sure what the main differences are in the caliber other than the longer 70 hour power reserve. The case profile and lugs are also a bit different.

Is there any physical difference? In terms of aesthetics they look the same to my naked-eye
