Rolex Day Date: Difference between 118238 vs 128238?

Hi guys, Currently considering to buy a day-date but the 118238 and 128238 look basically the same to me. Does anyone know the differences? Thanks :)

Is there any physical difference? In terms of aesthetics they look the same to my naked-eye

Thank you for your comment. You are not entirely wrong. Im in a highly competitive field and for a big first purchase, i want it to be something that symbolizes my achievement, without being too “in your face”. And yet, horology and value-to-money is also of relevance. Its a difficult one.

Im only in doubt because i own a steel datejust and a WG day date 18239 looks almost identical and kind of fits the same purpose. Lets see :)
