The 7S26 lacked both handwinding and hacking, requiring you to do the Seiko shuffle to start the watch. The NH36 has both features. Otherwise, the movements are essentially identical.
Wouldn’t go as far to say it’s a fake. The NH36 swap is a very popular movement upgrade with these watches. If you wanted to keep it as original as possible I completely understand but in all honesty, it looks like whoever swapped that movement did you a favor.

Maybe it's just another version of the movement. For example, I bought a Citizen Promaster NY0040 from an AD, the dial says B-8203, but the movement is the current B-8204 upgrade of the NY0141

Looks like a 2019 case and a nh36 upgrade have you been able to ask the seller about it anyway a great looking watch now with a better movement your on a winner
