The new Oris Sixty-Five 12h really made me think about how useful and sleek a 12-hour-bezel really is. I mean, a GMT is all well and good, but realistically, it's a bit overkill - at least for me: I'm hailing from Germany (GMT+2) and basically all time zones I might end up tracking roughly sit between LA (GMT-7) and Tokyo (GMT+9), so well within the confines of a simple 12h-bezel. It might sound obvious, but it's never really dawned on me before (everybody has these blind spots, I guess).
Oh, plus: that new Oris is a beauty imo. The lack of a diving bezel really pushes the 65 out of the diving category and right into the GADA realm, where it belongs with its mere 100m WR. Oris' historic catalogue is such a great platform for variations on timeless and aesthetically pleasing designs.

My first impression was hmm a gmt diver… but I do love the bezel for me it easier for me to read time lol
Yeah... Once I discovered 12 hour bezels, I lost interest in GMTs.
Really like the new Oris
Never had a watch with a 12 hour bezel, but I might try using a diver in this manner next time I travel. Wonderfully clean dial on this 65. I would probably not go for the black dial option though, if they have another color I could use a new blue watch….
