The Maen Brooklyn 36 (or: the "Month-Day-Date")
I am not trigger-happy when it comes to purchasing watches, but when swedish-dutch microbrand Maen announced the Manhattan 37 last year, I couldn't resist (zero regrets, btw).
Their upcoming release for 2023 could be best described as "Datejust with a twist" and I feel that this is quite a nuanced variation on the theme of dressy sports watches from bygone eras. What do we think about this one?

Looks good but I don't like using dials to show dates 🤷🏾♂️ Heard great things about the brand on YouTube though, and I'm very tempted by their quartz of all things.
I don’t like ‘dates’ but I do like triple calendars!

Well, I'm just a single customer and the plural of "anecdote" certainly isn't "data", but feel free to read my review (linked in the post). I had no problems whatsoever with Maen.
I never heard of Maen! Thanks for the introduction! I love this design, for me I think I would prefer that champagne dial, although I just wish the case was at least a 38mm instead of 36 :(
