Tevo - mechanical swiss watch

Very lucky find; it’s like it’s from a time capsule in absolute perfect condition in original

Box. The only problem is I have no idea how to chance the date, did the usual pull out to 1st and second position, doesn’t seem to change. Does anyone know anything about this? All help would be appreciated

Some 70's Seikos change days when you push the crown in, but more likely this might be a semi-quick set - meaning you set the time past midnight, the date changes, you go back to 9pm, it re-engages, then you advance to midnight again and repeat.

Thanks! Gonna give it a try later 👍

Just tried didn’t seem to work, everything is prestine in the watch so no idea might have to take it to watch maker

Yeah that's weird you should take it in. If it's not advancing after midnight than something is up. Beautiful watch either way!

If it's an NOS piece, some old oil may be gunked up in the date complication.

Thanks J bird, it looks immaculate inside. Guess only one way to find out,

Not sure if it’s NOS would say probably it’s not possible for something to be used and in this condition after 50 years
